Bailiff Bridge

Bailiff Bridge takes its name from a historic bridge over the Wyke Beck, where a bailiff once collected tolls. First recorded in 1374 as "Bailibrigge", this West Yorkshire village grew from a small hamlet into a thriving mill community during the Industrial Revolution — coal mining, textile mills and the world-famous Firth Carpets all played their part in shaping the village we know today.
