Standing tall in his black frock coat, silver-grey beard neatly trimmed, and his signature blue-and-white striped scarf, Harry Facks adjusts his top hat and smiles warmly.
Harry:
“Welcome, friend! I’m Harry Facks, your guide on this grand journey through the hidden stories of Halifax and Calderdale. Together, we’ll uncover secrets, solve mysteries, and walk the paths of those who shaped this remarkable place.”
He opens his leather-bound notebook, its pages filled with sketches, letters, and faded newspaper clippings.
Harry:
“But before we set off, there’s a secret you must unlock. It’s a humble beginning, tied to the very kitchens of Halifax and the soldiers who marched from here.”
Harry gestures to a rustic kitchen scene, where a tin of oats and a well-used baking tray sit on a wooden table.

He leans in, voice lowered.
