Mr JOHN R. HEATON

The Corporation Tap at Crib Lane Dean Clough In your description you say that it closed in 1903. I can remember visiting my Uncle GEORGE HEATON and his wife Aunt ALICE,the Landlord and Landlady at this pub with my father, to my recall it was a RAMSDENS PUB and was opposite WHITAKERS BREWERY. As I was born in 1948, this would have been the early 1950s, another relative, Cousin Ernest Hitchen was also landlord of the DUSTY MILLER INN ( where the RUNNING MAN now stands) was visited by us at the same time.
I hope this is helpful for your historic story.
