I'm currently working on my family tree, and recently learnt that my Great grandparents moved from Sheffield when my grandad was 1yr old, and they lived at 8 Rosemary Lane. Both my parents grew up on Backhold with their parents, and stayed in Siddal when they got married and brought up me and my sister. I used to live at Mortons Close, and it fascinates me that my Great Great grandparents lived so close! Someone shared photos of the houses there, and I was so happy to finally picture where they lived.
